Kimihang beach, Kudat
September 13th, 2007
Here’s some photos my cousin William Joseph (from my mom side) sent me recently. It’s a place in Kudat called the Kimihang beach. Now i am not really sure where it is but it’s sure like a great place for the family. Looking at them cooking those fresh catch from the sea really made me envious. Life is definitely good in Sabah. And that beer cans they were holding………can’t wait to go back!

Pinky Fishies are tasty!

Well Kimihang beach is one of “pompod tana’s” beaches…to reach there is simple (for org Kudat la)…anyway, if you know the simpang for Kg. Bangau, then all u need to do is drive straight till the end of the road and you will reach Kimihang beach…I’ve been there twice…great place for family gathering…

Once upon a time when I was a child my dad always brought us to this place called kimihang beach, and one of my uncle (Francis Pawai Mondorusun) marriage to kimihang girl and when there was a newly couple (also I don’t why??) I always brought by them to their house which located very near to this beach until you can hear the waves heating the beaches ba..and another history that I can remenber, Uncle John kastum have a piece of land near my uncle pawai house and uncle John always visit this land and we follow him (1980, that time I stayed with uncle. I’m in form 1), after that until now (27 years already) I also never been there. So, we must visit kimihang beach, maybe the scenario already change a lot.

The place is still untouched…I mean no real development and I like it to stay like that when I visit next year (hopefully)…went there with my church youth and my friends went fishing there too…good fishing spot there…cool breeze air, white beach and blue sea…the place is a beauty…
